The Webmaster
did suggest that an iron cage such as those
used in School Lane car park might have
provided proper protection for the tree
donated to the town by Rotary.
However the mindless vandal who destroyed the tree was no doubt caught on
camera by the operator of the CCTV camera
nine paces away on the edge of the bank
building.
If not - Why not ?
