The website is being rewritten.
It is in a right old muddle at
the moment but I am gradually
getting the whole thing in
order.

The old website was written
using Microsoft FrontPage 2003
and was a simple site that could
be altered using Dynamic Web
Templates.
This site is now being written
using Microsoft Web Expression
which is the successor to the
now unsupported FrontPage 2003
I have also used Dynamic WebTemplates
in this website but have made
use of Cascading Style Sheets,
Master Pages and used some of
the advantages that ASP.NET
provides. Some of the results
have been a little unpredictable
especially if the Firefox
Browser is used. The site is
optimised for Internet Explorer.

Most of the Rotary Club Websites
are now generated from a widely
used format distributed by a
Rotary Club which allows
controlled input into the
individual sites with the
minimum of effort and with
maximum reliability in return
for a donation to Foundation.
It would be out of character for
Thetford were we not to
"Do Different"
Our site may look rather like
the majority of the others but
it will have it's own unique
style and content.
