The P.S. Waverley departs from Southwold
Pier at 10.00am on Thursday the 30th of September and thrashes
down the coast at up to 17 knots and up the Thames
to finish its journey opposite HMS Belfast upstream
from Tower Bridge. The Waverley is a fully restored
steam driven paddle ship. There is a bar on board
and a also very simple restaurant which even serves fish
and chips.
A coach then takes the
passengers back to Southwold by about 21:30

is £41 per person
